Jennifer Sharpnack is a life-long equestrian with over 36 years in the industry that began with her working with and showing, Bask-bred Arabians as a youth competitor. She was also involved in her farm’s recognized breeding program. Later in life Jennifer trained at a Friesian breeding facility specializing in Classical Dressage. Jennifer has been training horses and coaching for 27 years. Her clients have competed at the AQHA Youth World, APHA Youth World, Arabian World, Arabian World Breeders Cup, AQHA and APHA Futurities, and American Endurance Championships. She has also prepared stallions for their ratings and dressage riding patterns at The Friesian IBOP and Gypsy Vanner Horse Society. Jennifer was on the ground-floor of The Western Dressage movement and the creation of the WDAA. She is also a Train The Trainer Graduate from the WDAA and has had numerous Champions coming out of the Association.
Jennifer’s post-secondary education in Animal Husbandry and Holistic Health have partnered perfectly with her equestrian training and coaching career (Go Bulldogs!). She is a Certified Holistic Health Practioner, Level 1 Thermal Imager and Pulsed Electric Magnetic Field Therapy (PEMF) Practitioner. She recently added a class 3 therapy laser to her practice.
Jennifer spends her free time on her OEFFA certified organic farm with her family and helping injured animals at Animal Sanctuaries, Equine Assited Therapy groups, Post 9/11Vets with Therapeutic Riding and OTTTB Adoption Groups. Her goals for the near future is to be ENGALA Certified for Equine Assisted Therapy and Animal Hospice Comfort Care.
